iSmile Direct is NOT INSURANCE, but rather a licensed dental savings plan that’s offered through your local dental office. Unlike traditional dental insurance filled with red tape, iSmile Direct features no waiting periods, maximums, exclusions or claims process.
In exchange for a low annual membership fee starting at only $99/yr, iSmile Direct members receive 20-40% off all dental services at a growing community of 23+ dental offices across the greater Chicago and St. Louis regions.
Note: Exact member savings may vary from normal member savings if a board-certified specialist renders the services.
iSmile Direct is inexpensive and typically pays for itself in only one visit to the dentist.
Individual Membership: $99.00 per year
Family Membership: + $30.00 per year (per person)
Note: iSmile Direct renews automatically every 12 months unless you notify your participating dental office or the plan administrator of intent to cancel prior to your annual renewal date. All members will receive renewal notifications via direct mail (30 days prior), email (7 days prior), and phone call (3 days prior).

Since iSmile Direct has no waiting periods, exclusions or maximums, you can utilize your membership immediately and as much as needed while you’re in good standing with your annual membership payment.
If you would like to use your membership prior to your member ID cards arriving in the mail (7-10 days), simply mention you’re a member when visiting your participating dental office and they will verify eligibility real-time.

To maintain optimal oral health, the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends regular dental visits, at intervals determined by your dentist. The frequency of your regular dental visits should be tailored by your dentist to accommodate for your current oral health status and health history.
iSmile Direct carries an annual membership term and will auto-renew at the end of its respective term unless you notify your participating dental office or the plan administrator of your intent to cancel prior to your annual renewal date.
Yes, you can add additional family members to your membership at any time within our online member portal or by calling (888) 286-1955, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm CST.
You will receive your new member welcome kit in the mail within 7-10 days from your enrollment date. Your member welcome kit will include your welcome letter, member terms and conditions, and member ID cards.
Note: If you’re a new member and didn’t receive your member welcome kit, or a current member and lost your member ID cards and need replacements, please call (888) 286-1955 to speak with a dedicated member support specialist. We will be happy to mail you a set of replacement ID cards at no charge.
